Professor Tanko Ishaya is a Professor of Computer Science and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos, Nigeria. With over 30 years’ experience in AI, cybersecurity, data science, and ICT, he has led numerous national and international research projects, securing over $3 million in funding. A former academic in the UK, he has published widely, supervised multiple PhDs, and served as consultant to institutions including the British Council and NCC. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and serves on various advisory boards. He is also a certified IT practitioner and forensic expert.
